?Due to popular demand, Duke are proud to present this DVD review for the first time since 1993! In a competition that has been historically dominated by America, this year saw a third consecutive win for the French - and a pretty impressive performance from the UK racers as well.

We’ve condensed all 14 races into four digestible hours. We bring you the best sprinting, passing, braking, and crashing from all that oval track action - and it’s certainly not for the feint-hearted!
Frenchman Sebastién Bourdais dominated this year, scoring 7 wins, 7 poles and a podium place for 11 of 14 starts - taking his third consecutive Champ Car title. He started the season perfectly with four victories in a row at Long Beach, Houston, Monterrey, and Milwaukee. But just when it started to look like a one horse race, his winning streak was ended by the emergence of American A. J. Allmendinger, who won three sequential races heading into summer. As the seasons changed the Frenchman regained points, and with an amazing performance at the finale in Mexico, he seized the 23rd victory of his Champ Car career.

Flying the flag for the UK, Justin Wilson secured 2nd place in the 2006 drivers championship with the help of Dan Clarke and Katherine Legge. Justin put in one of the grittiest performances of his career to take 2nd place for the CDW-RuSPORT team at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. After dominating the race with a heavily strapped wrist under mixed weather conditions, he narrowly missed out on the win. Bourdais made an aggressive, wheel-banging pass on the final lap of the race to take glory for Newman-Haas.

Dan Clarke was extra competitive at San Jose, moving up from 9th to 2nd before a gearbox failure put him out at mid-distance. At his next race, in Denver, Clarke moved into 3rd place in the final lap to achieve his first podium finish as a Champ Car driver.

And at Road America, just six laps from the finish line, Katherine Legge suffered an extremely violent accident. Coming out relatively unscathed, (and making all Brits and women proud) she went onto become the first woman to lead a lap in series history.

On-board and trackside cameras capture every high speed pass and near-miss. So sit back and enjoy this fully-loaded review package!
