Minichamps Katalogus 2010-1

Dear Collector,

we have realized a comprehensive programme, in which there is a lot to explore. You have probably realized the new design of the cover page, which underlines that this year’s catalogue is a very special one.
Minichamps will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2010. Twenty years, in which we have released more than 38 million models.
When we founded Minichamps in 1990, it was our desire to create collector cars, which would set a new industry standard, in terms of detail and over­whelming production quality. Continuously we have entered new categories and scales, the last being the 64 scale models. More than 100 awards by specialised journalists and collectors rewarded our effort so far.

Two decades of experience – does not mean that we will repose from what we have achieved so far. Far from it, we will continue to set new standards – in double literal sense. On example is the aerial ladder fire engine in scale 18, which is based on the Mercedes-Benz L 6600 and will be released to the market this year. This model possesses an aerial ladder out of die-cast, which is unique world wide in scale 18 (see page 230-231).

After 20 years our passion is unbroken. We will continue to work with full commitment, in order to inspire you with interesting and high quality models in the next centuries – with “pure passion”.
