In 1966, an F2 line-up completed the F1 roster for the German GP at the Nürburgring circuit, the 22.7 km track with 170 corners ... Jacky Ickx set the fastest time in the F2 during practice. Sadly a collision with John Taylor on the first lap forced him to retire.
